You should expect (before purchasing a diamond) to review a copy of the diamond Certificate as a proof that the diamond has been examined by a unbiased professional diamond gemologist.
What is a diamond Certificate?
Diamond Certificate, also called a Diamond Grading Report, a Diamond Dossier, or a Diamond Quality Report, is a diamond report created by a team of independent Diamond Gemologists. A diamond is evaluated, measured, and scrutinized using trained eyes, a jeweler’s loupe, a microscope, and other diamond industry tools. A completed diamond certificate includes an analysis of the diamond’s dimensions, clarity, color, polish, symmetry, and other diamond characteristics. Many round shape diamonds also include a cut grade on the diamond report.
Every loose diamond that The Jewelry Hut sells, has been analyzed and graded by either the GIA, Gemological Institute of America or another independent diamond grading laboratories. The Jewelry Hut only chooses the diamond reporting laboratories that are among the most respected diamond laboratories and are known for their consistency and unbiased diamond grading systems in the diamond trade industry. Diamond that are accompanied by any of these diamond grading reports are the most highly valued diamond in the diamond industry.
